Some recipes featured for Forgotten Crossroads, Greenpath, and a bit of Fungal Wastes pictured above!
I imagine an HK game starring Crest would have you go on quests to get *ingredience* and recipes across the kingdom, and of course bc its HK you have to fight and loot to get the stuff! The more advanced you get the more kitchens you unlock, and better (chef’s knives) nails as well. In the Colosseum, you fight to get rare spices.
Recipes featured:
Pale soup - Kind of a thick chowder made with pale ferns and bits of tiktik. Tastes like clam chowder?
Vitalitea - Lifeblood and Lifeseed steeped in soul-infused water. Sweet.
Swaddled Gruzzer - Gruzzer wrapped in leaves and baked over hot coals! I cannot find it in me to imagine what it tastes like.
Vengefly Kabob - Roasted vengefly and mushrooms. Tastes like teriyaki chicken?
Broiled Tiktik - Tiktik broiled with herbs and spices, with some I-can’t-believe-it’s-not-bug-butter butter on the side. Tastes a little bit like lobster (seafood-y) but not as rich?
Century Rancid Egg - Based on an actual Century egg, actually a little less stinky than the raw egg. Disgusting.
A cook in a Sikh kitchen cooking curry in an extremely large pot.
The Sikh kitchen provides tens of thousands of free meals on a daily basis
It`s called a langar and everyone, no matter what your religion, caste, race, age, gender, etc, is invited to come eat. Only vegetarian food is served, so regardless of dietary restrictions, anyone can eat. It was started by the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak. Langar was designed to uphold the principle of equality between all people.

I have a lot of respect for the Punjabi institution of the Sikh Langar. Tens of thousands of people of all backgrounds have been fed good, fresh, complete meals every day for five hundred years, made entirely by volunteers, without a penny changing hands. Imagine that, making a serious, large-scale, sustained effort to feed people simply because people need to be fed.
“RECENTLY THERE’S BEEN A LOT OF PEOPLE ONLINE CHALLENGING EACH OTHER TO CHEW THROUGH WATERMELON. IS THERE ANYONE WILLING TO CHALLENGE ME??” *smacks head three times with plate* “[UNINTELLIGIBLE]” *gross wet chomping noises*
